In this “Spy Hunter” style police game, the Lego Space Police are after notorious villain Brick Daddy, who has stolen a huge shipment of gold Lego bricks from the space docks. You must stop him before he escapes Galaxy City with all of the gold! Note: See below game for instructions and tips.
Space Games: Dodge Asteroids and Destroy Alien Starships
Space. The final frontier. These are the games where no one can hear you scream. Have fun blowing stuff up. And try to avoid painful fiery death.
FWG Missile Command: Defend Your Bases
Defend your bases with your funky missile defense system. Shoot enemy ships for bonus points. You will earn more points if you use less missiles in any give level and also if you keep your bases from being damaged. After each wave, use upgrade points to rebuild destroyed bases, add shields to bases, and upgrade missile speed and power. Extra victory points are awarded if you complete the game after level 15.
Mouse.
Chute Defense: Protect Your Space Station
Evil aliens are intent on taking your space station and using it to stage an attack on Earth! Use your arsenal of weapons and defenses to protect the station and stop the invasion. Set up defenses and protect the base as the aliens advance. You can repair your defenses if they’re damaged, and you can eliminate aliens if they set up their own towers, but be careful, because a nuclear strike can also hurt your own troops! Note: See below game for instructions and tips.
Instructions: Use your mouse to select and place your defenses. The invasion starts small, so you can use weaker towers starting out (they’re cheaper). Once you’ve built up a little money, you can either add more towers or upgrade the ones you have. Hover over each of the towers to see what it can do before you commit to placing it. You can also sell your towers later on if you discover that you made a mistake or just need the space for better defenses.
Rock and War: Destroy Monsters
Humans have discovered a new energy supply on a remote, rocky planet. Unfortunately, it turned out to be inhabited by hostile rock monsters! Destroy them so we can get the energy we need to survive. You’ll get access to more and more powerful soldiers and weapons, but they tend to cost more as you advance. Note: See below game for instructions and tips, plus a cool Rock Monster music video (from Veggietales)!
Instructions: Use your mouse to select units, then use the A or D keys to move them forward. Note that some units, such as mines and machine gun emplacements, are stationary. Your units can’t move beyond the farthest unit in the field. So, for instance, if you’ve got one gunner in the middle of the screen, none of your other gunners can move past him. You’ll need to start up your energy generators in order to teleport more units to aid in your defense. The generators can also defend themselves, but it costs energy. Don’t put mines too close to your units, because when they blow up, they’ll also blow up your own troops. Tanks are similar — when they get defeated, they blow up to kill a few more rock monsters.
Speaking of which, here’s Rock Monster (a parody of Rock Lobster from the B-52s):
Space Pilot: Dodge Asteroids
Space Pilot is like the classic Asteroids game… without the guns. Instead of blasting big asteroids into little asteroids, you have to use your quick catlike reflexes to dodge the asteroids, mines, walls, etc. until the danger has passed. This version of the game has been updated so that you can at least beat it… although the later levels are still nearly impossible. Note: See below game for instructions and tips.
Instructions: Use your arrow keys to control your spaceship. Keep in mind that you’re in space, so won’t slow down much once you start moving; you’ll need to use your thrusters to stop or reverse direction. The name of each mission gives a clue as to what you’ll need to do. Some of the later missions are really tough and require very quick reflexes and timing, but if you keep at it, you’ll make it.
