Also, as you level up, you’ll get a chance to improve your skills as well as your magic powers. Use these opportunities wisely and don’t overdevelop any particular skill. You’ll start out with weak opponents. It’s a good idea to go ahead and spend some time with them, as they’ll help you build up some cash and inventory. You can just hold down the J key to keep attacking them — but be aware that they don’t really die. They just rematerialize a little later — sometimes right behind you!
