Sinjid, Shadow of the Warrior (SOTW), is a turn-based game where you learn the ways of the Ninja by fighting powerful monsters and evil men. As you battle, you gain experience, power and gold. Use your gold to buy healing & mana potions, powerful weapons and better armor. As your abilities increase, you can learn different spells to use in your attacks. Note: See below game for instructions, tips and SOTW cheats.
Instructions: Arrows = move within monastery; spacebar = talk/enter rooms. Mouse = actions. Be sure to explore the entire monastery and talk to everyone you meet. Also, when you increase your skills, choose carefully to make the most of your improvements.
SOTW Tips: In one of the upper rooms, you’ll find a man seated at a table. Talk to him, and he’ll give you a ring. Move to your right, and you’ll come to a room with a moon in the window. Go stand in front of the moon and press the spacebar — you’ll receive one extra skill point. For spells, the most powerful I’ve come across are Blast Fire, Avenger, and Split. None of these require a great deal of mana, but they can inflict devastating damage if you build them up. With Avenger, don’t use it until you’ve lost a fair amount of life points; that way, the spell will inflict more damage on your enemy.
As you advance, be sure to raise your hit points and mana. You don’t need to worry too much about strength, as long as you’re strong enough to carry a good weapon, headband, armor and shield. The higher your hit points, the more you’ll be able to safely lose so that you can do massive damage with the Avenger spell.
SOTW Cheat: To receive lots of experience points so you can level up quickly, try this: Go to the Human Room, then right-click the play area and click “Forward.” (You might also be able to right-click and press the “F” key to make the process go a little faster.) Keep doing this until you reach the “victory” screen, where it tells you how much experience you’ve received. Do this a few times in the Human Room, until you’ve leveled up a few times. Next, go upstairs to the training room and select the Advanced Training. Repeat this process several times to keep advancing.
